Register in four steps.

Welcome to General Practice De Residentie. We are pleased that you wish to become a patient with us. Below, you can see how to register in four steps.

Our practice is affiliated with the LUMC. In addition to our permanent GPs, one or more doctors in training always work with us. They are supervised by an experienced GP.

Postcode check

You can register if you live in one of the postal codes listed below in The Hague, have Dutch health insurance, and do not yet have a GP within our postal code area.

  • Duinoord: 2517
  • Zeeheldenkwartier: 2513 and 2518
  • Regentesse and Valkenbos Quarter: 2561, 2562 and 2563
  • States and Geuzen Quarter: 2581 and 2582
  • Archipelbuurt, Willemspark, Voorhout: 2585 and 2514
  • Bomenbuurt: 2565.

Inform your current GP

Please inform your current GP that you are switching and that you consent to your records being sent securely. Without this consent, we cannot process your registration.

Wait 7 working days


Your registration will be processed within 7 working days. You will not receive a confirmation. If you have not heard anything after 7 working days, you are registered.

Read the house rules

  • Making appointments. It is not possible to make appointments at the reception desk. Please call the practice for this.
  • Privacy at the counter. Keep a little distance at the counter and do not join in other people's conversations. This way, we respect each other's privacy.
  • Respectful behavior. Verbal or physical violence will not be tolerated. In the event of inappropriate behavior, you will be immediately asked to leave the practice, a report will be filed, and a ban from the practice may follow.
  • Alcohol and drugs. Come to the practice sober. Entry under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted.
  • Mobile phones. You may have your phone on, as long as you don't bother others.
  • Pets. Unfortunately, pets are not welcome at the practice. Assistance dogs are an exception to this rule.
  • Making recordings. Recordings are only permitted with prior permission and exclusively for personal use.

Step 5

Invitation for flu and pneumococcal vaccination by email

In October, the annual flu vaccinations will take place at the Maranatha Church in The Hague. The specific date will be announced in the autumn. Everyone aged 60 and older, or with a medical indication in accordance with RIVM guidelines, will receive an invitation.
